God Is A Woman

God is a woman [1], And God is a man [2]. God is nature [3]. And God is space [4].

God is also not a woman. God is not a man. God is not nature or space.

Jesus uses “he” and “him” to identify God. Jesus uses “he” and “him” in the Hebrew language where even inanimate objects are labeled “he” and “him”.

So could Jesus maybe perhaps be referring to God as an inanimate object [5]?

God is no more one of these identities than the other [6].

To spend more time calling God “he” than “she” reduces the overtly feminine qualities God has: life-giver [7] creator [8] womb [9].

To spend more time calling God “she” than “he” reduces the overtly masculine qualities God has: protector [10] father [11].

To spend more time calling God any pronoun than nature reduces the importance of how God identifies Godself, more often than not: fire [12] wind [13] burning bush [14] rumbling earth [15] beaming light [16].

To spend more time calling God any one thing than another thing reduces God’s wholeness and holiness.

God is a woman [17], And God is a man [18]. God is nature [19]. And God is space [20].

And God will never only be a woman, a man, nature, or space [21].
